Container Concept
Hermetic steel bodies in the exterior space as a closed acoustic exceptional situation, which carries its inner events to the outside through noticeable vibrations.
I work with different sizes of sea freight containers:
10` (2,99m L, 2,44m W, 2,59m H)
20" (6.06m L, 2.44m W, 2.59m H)
40` (12,19m L, 2,44m W, 2,59m H)
They serve as closed bodies in which I play extremely loud sounds. Interesting for me are the indirect phenomena which are influenced by and emerge through the sculpture.

Its still moderate exterior sound bears no relation to the acoustic events inside. A perceptible and audible approximation occurs: a new idea of volume in its hermetic seclusion and a visible vibration as a haptically perceptible reaction of the material.
