Over The Tracks

A place in a dense acoustic space. The urban noise is reflected by houses and bounces back into the building.

Its as if white ribbon, were painted on the panes from the inside, running around the complex. The visual identification of the external sources of noise is prevented.

Plastic tubes in the stairways are used to produce modulated bangs from these resonating bodies. Together with the penetrating soundscape, an acoustic space is created - an apparently structured sound event, a hearing that is uncoupled from visual verifiability.
